• 1. trademark search the name of your business. then register with your state. includes deciding if you will have a home office or register for a business address with UPS or any other service that gived you a physical address to fill out your registration.
• 2. request a business license with your county.
• 3.establish a website that includes privacy policy, terms of services and
• 4. Visit IRS.Gov and create an EIN for your business
• 5. Visit Dun & Bradstreet and register for your DUNS# 5a. biz checking.biz paypal. biz credit card.
• 6. Draft A Lean Business plan.. find a template on sba.gov. start small... with this you can contact your local sbdc or SCORE mentor to help you develop your official business plan - which is imp to have when you want to bid for gov't contracts or apply for grants!
• 7.Start Selling this will help get you bumped up to the toddler business stage which is needed to land bigger grants and loan opportunity. Plus, the quicker you can put up a product for selling the sooner you will have revenue to upgrade your business tools
